A high-pressure system centered over the North Atlantic will continue to extend to the Alps and determine the weather in our area for some time. For now, temperatures will remain mild for the season over the weekend, especially in the high mountains, where the frost line will be at 3000 meters above sea level. However, next week will see a shift in the wind to the northwest, bringing colder conditions with each passing day. At least in terms of temperatures, winter will return to us before the end of the year. However, snowfall is still not expected. Under certain circumstances, low-lying high fog may become an issue in some valleys. In the new year, the weather will probably remain sunny at first, but the chances of possible snowfall will also increase.
