However, at the beginning of the new year, slightly milder air from the southwest will reach us again for a short time. The air mass will remain very dry, and bright sunshine will continue to dominate the sky on New Year's Day. There will be a foehn wind, and harmless clouds will mix with the sun on Friday. At the same time, it will get colder again. A weak cold front will reach us on Saturday morning, bringing light to moderate snowfall for a short time.
