High pressure and a supply of warm air will remain with us up to and including Friday, with early summer continuing to show strong signs of life. Then at the weekend, a cold front will slowly approach us from the north, making the weather much more changeable and unstable. Until then, however, you can still enjoy the early summer feeling to the full on Thursday and Friday. Then, on Saturday, the weather will soon become more changeable with westerly winds picking up and increasing instability. This trend will continue on Sunday. Showers could develop at any time in the unstable stratified air mass. The cold front will then cross us on Monday night. Monday itself will bring us calmer weather, but it will be much colder than recently.
