We are now moving from the edge of a high-pressure system, which is pushing in from the Atlantic towards Central Europe, towards its centre. For the time being, however, a weak cold front will be driven towards the northern side of the Alps by a strong westerly wind during the night leading into Monday. On Monday morning, we will still be seeing some lingering clouds from this front, but by the afternoon it will be mainly sunny again. This sunshine is likely to hold up very well from Tuesday to Thursday. Fine weather is on the way, and it will be spring-like and warm. The frost line will be at 3,000 metres above sea level. Occasionally, a few harmless clouds will mingle with the sunshine, but they won’t cause any disruption. A cold front will approach us as the north wind picks up on Friday. Heavy cloud cover will prevail. This will be accompanied by showers and falling temperatures. The snow line will drop below 1,500 metres above sea level.
